To stop SugarDaddyMeet billing you, log in, open Settings, then Subscriptions, and turn off auto-renewal; if you paid through Google Play or Apple, cancel there too, because deleting your profile does not stop an app store subscription.

SugarDaddyMeet Premium renews by default "for the same package length at the same price until you cancel it", in the words of its own FAQ. Turning off renewal, hiding your profile and deleting your account are separate steps. The steps below come from the SugarDaddyMeet FAQ, checked in October 2026. The FAQ also explains what happens to your data after deletion, which differs from most sites.

The short answer

Turn off auto-renewal first. Your Premium access then runs until the end of the period you paid for, and you drop back to a free Standard account. If you subscribed through Google Play or the Apple App Store, cancel in that store as well. Then delete the account under Settings, then My Account. Deletion is not instant in effect: if you log in again within six months, the account is restored. For money back, the FAQ points you to customer service rather than promising a refund.

Step by step

On the website (card or CCBill payments). Log in and click Settings under your main photo in the top right. Choose Subscriptions in the left sidebar. Click the link "Your membership will automatically renew until you cancel your subscription by clicking here", then choose "CONTINUE MANAGEMENT" and confirm that auto-renewal is off. The FAQ says you can also email support or call 1-416-628-1072 or 1-888-702-1274 (toll-free).

On Google Play. Open the Play Store, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions, and cancel there. Google's help page is clear that "When you uninstall the app, your subscription won't cancel."

On iPhone or iPad. The FAQ gives Apple's path: Settings app, your name, Subscriptions, the subscription, then Cancel Subscription.

Why both matter. The FAQ warns that if you paid through Google Play or Apple and do not cancel there, "you will continue being charged regardless of your account status on the app." For card payments, the FAQ says the subscription is cancelled automatically when you remove your account. Doing it yourself first is still the safer order.

Refunds: what the rules say

The FAQ's refund answer reads: "You have the right to cancel your subscription without any penalty or obligation." For "full / prorated refund inquiries within a reasonable time frame", it asks you to call or email customer service, and says requests are usually handled within one business day. It does not define "reasonable", and it does not promise a refund. The site's Website Terms of Use contain no refund clause. So a refund is something to ask for, not a right the FAQ grants.

For Google Play purchases, Google handles refund requests itself within 48 hours of purchase; after that, it sends you to the developer. If you paid through Apple, the request goes through Apple.

Act quickly. If you notice a renewal you did not want, call or email the same day, and keep a record of when you asked.

Delete versus hide

Hiding keeps your account and removes you from view, but the FAQ says only Premium members can hide their profiles. Deleting removes the profile from the site. The catch is the six-month window. If you log in again within six months, the account comes back automatically. If you stay away for six months, the FAQ says your information is permanently deleted from the database, except success stories and other posts in the community areas. Delete any blog posts or forum comments you do not want kept before you close the account.

What users complain about most

SugarDaddyMeet scores 1.5 out of 5 on Trustpilot from 71 reviews, with 68% at one star. The biggest recent theme is price. Several reviewers from late 2025 to September 2026 say monthly Premium rose from about $50 to about $160 in the US, or the regional equivalent, and company replies point to safety and support costs. Third-party price pages still list $50 a month, so check the price at checkout. Other repeated complaints are bot or scam profiles, inactive accounts, content sellers, and reported profiles that stay up.

Before you cancel

  • Check how you paid. Your statement shows "Success SDM" for card payments. A Google Play or Apple charge means cancelling in that store.
  • Know which app you have. The FAQ says SugarDaddyMeet offers an Android app and that iPhone users use the mobile website. Its own app page offers an APK download from its website. A Play Store listing called "SDM: Sweet & Discreet Meet" by SDM Lifestyle exists, but its terms link to a different domain, sdm.dating, and the official pages checked do not link to it.
  • Do not log in after deleting if you want the deletion to stick. Logging in within six months restores the account.
  • Scams outlast accounts. If someone you met is now asking for a fee to send an allowance, read our guide to sugar dating scams.

What to do instead

FAQ

Does deleting my SugarDaddyMeet account stop billing?

For card payments, the FAQ says the subscription is cancelled automatically when you remove your account. For Google Play or Apple payments, it is not: you must cancel in the store, or charges continue.

Can I get a refund from SugarDaddyMeet?

The FAQ does not promise one. It says to contact customer service by phone or email for "full / prorated refund inquiries within a reasonable time frame".

Can I pause my SugarDaddyMeet membership?

No. The FAQ says freezing a Premium membership is not allowed. You can turn off renewal and let the paid period run out.

Is a deleted SugarDaddyMeet account gone for good?

Not at first. Logging in within six months restores it. After six months without a login, the FAQ says your information is permanently deleted, except success stories and community posts.
