Where sources disagree

Many third-party price pages still show the old figures of $109.99 a month for Premium and $274.99 for Diamond. DatingScout's October 2026 review still lists those. Seeking's own October 2025 announcement sets higher prices from January 1, 2026, and is the better guide. It also says members who were subscribed before that date keep their old price while the subscription stays active, which may explain why some users still see lower rates.

The official pages also talk about roles rather than gender. Seeking calls the two sides "Successful" and "Attractive" members. Third-party reviews translate that as men pay and women do not. Seeking's own blog does not say in plain words which free members can message. Treat the "women message free" point as reported, not official.

What users complain about most

Seeking scores 1.6 out of 5 on Trustpilot from 41 reviews, 86% of them one star. On the free tier, the common complaint is that the free account does very little until you pay. The billing complaints that follow are harder: charges reviewers say they did not authorize, accounts suspended soon after payment, and refund requests that went unanswered.   • Paid verification is optional. Selfie verification is free. A background check for a verified badge is optional, with a reported price of $50 (third-party, GetArranged). Seeking's site footer states that members "are not subject to mandatory background screenings".
